Domestic Abuse Workplace Champions.
Free training so someone in your organisation knows how to respond, delivered with the Police & Crime Commissioner.
What you get.
One in four women and one in six men experience domestic abuse. Work is often the one place a person is away from the perpetrator — which makes an employer's response genuinely consequential. This training makes sure someone in your business knows what to do.
Champion training
A half-day session equipping a named person to recognise the signs and respond appropriately and safely.
Policy and process
Template policies and practical guidance on adjusting hours, pay and security arrangements for someone at risk.
A route to specialist help
Direct links into local specialist services, so your champion is signposting rather than counselling.
How to get started.
Nominate a champion — usually someone in HR or a trusted manager — and get in touch to book them onto the next session.
