Representation sits at the heart of what we do, and it exists to support members. We take on the issues that affect the whole business community and lobby at every level of policy decision-making — locally, regionally and through the British Chambers of Commerce.

The Chamber is governed by businesses from across the county — elected, unpaid and accountable to the membership.
The Board
Thirteen elected representatives from the Council and the Local Area Advisory Boards, each of whom has served for over a year. The Board's role is to make sure the Chambers is a well run business.
It has three non-executive officers: President, Deputy President and Treasurer.

The Council develops and ratifies the Chamber's policy and lobbying role, keeping the Board and executives in touch with business issues and the membership. It also acts as a sounding board and receives the Forum reports.

Local Area Advisory Boards make sure the Chamber reflects the different economies within Staffordshire. Members get everything the county Chamber offers, plus events built around their own patch.
Stafford Chamber
A division of Staffordshire Chambers representing Stafford Borough — home to over 6,000 businesses, from micro-businesses and SMEs to large multinationals. Manufacturing, professional services, ICT, leisure and tourism, and logistics, with excellent rail, road and airport links to UK and international markets.
